Timor Awakening
Timor Awakening is a program for veterans willing to be accountable and take responsibility to do the work to move in a positive direction in life.
Galileo donates a portion of its annual charter revenue to support Timor Awakening’s initiatives in Timor-Leste, which includes school and education programs for Veteran families in the Same district.
A programme of renewal and rehabilitation for Australian and Timorese Veterans with holistic health education, personal & group engagement, pastoral care, mentoring & historical commemoration, centred around an 11-day immersion experience in Timor-Leste.
Timor Awakening Film.
Timor Awakening is a film about the journey of veterans of two neighboring countries. Filmed on the inaugural Timor Awakening Program in July 2016, the film provides a snapshot into the unique history of Timor-Leste and how Australian soldiers are returning for healing and much more.
